Mail Call For 6.22.24

After seeing a reference to it while looking at the Wikipedia entry for Atari Force to prepare my Short Box post, I decided that I should supplement my collection of Atari-related work by José Luis García-López with the first DC Graphic Novel.

I’ve never read it before, and I don’t think it has any direct ties to the Atari Force ongoing series, though glancing through it I see that there is a reference to Atari Force – the team, not the comic – and it’s on a world populated by creatures of the same species as Hukka, the little alien creature who appeared in the mini-comics and the ongoing series.

Mostly I just wanted to have some more JLGL art in my life, because too much is never enough.

The second DC Graphic Novel is also an Atari tie-in. It’s based on the game Warlords, it’s not JLGL, and it doesn’t appear to be connected to Atari Force in any way, so I’m going to give that one a pass.

Even so, keep your eyes peeled for new Mail Call posts, as there’s always something – including something with even more JLGL goodness – that will be making its way here eventually.
