It’s kind of a misnomer to call this one a “Short Box” given that it won’t fit in any box I have..

I did not care for “Hush.” I didn’t find the storyline or the titular character at all interesting. Yeah, the art from Jim Lee and Scott Williams was great, but it wasn’t enough to save it for me.

However, I seem to be in the minority in that regard, as it’s considered a classic Batman story and is much loved by fans the world over.

So naturally, after all these years, it’s gotten a sequel.

I really had no interest in picking it up, given my antipathy towards the original.

But then I learned about this edition of the issue that kicks off the story, and then later saw it in person at the comic shop and I was taken in by the sheer ridiculousness of it and just couldn’t not pick it up for the novelty of it.

Of course, now that I have it, I have no idea what I’m going to do with it. It’s absurdly large, so there’s no easy way to store it, especially since I don’t know that there are any suitably-sized bags and boards for a comic like this. And even if there are, I’d have no need for more than one bag and one board, and it’s not really possible to buy just one.

Just look at the size of it.

As with the original, the main thing the sequel has going for it is the art, and that is well served by the ridiculous size of this ridiculous comic.

But as with the original that’s not enough to make me care.

I couldn’t resist the novelty of this giant comic, but that’s not enough to keep me from telling “H2sh” to sh2sh..
