Mail Call For 12.23.25
In the savage world of Skartaris, down in the center of the Earth, you must always expect the unexpected.
Of course, I live here, on the – ostensibly – civilized surface, and thanks to online tracking I can expect the…expected.
Like this.

When this was announced, I couldn’t say no, even though I’d been in the process of compiling a complete run of the series in floppies.
Of course, that, like all of my collection goals, has been put on indefinite hold thanks to financial constraints *cough*, but I wouldn’t have been able to resist this anyway.
I will say that it feels as though they…went a more economical route with the printing of this.
The paper doesn’t feel cheap, exactly, but the book is much, much lighter than you would expect from a hardcover volume of its size, nearly as light as the light-as-a-feather G.I. Joe Compendium.
Even so, I’m glad I have it and that it arrived in time for Christmas.
Though the frequency of my online purchasing has almost slowed to a halt, more stuff is coming – including more from Mike Grell – so check back soon for the next Mail Call.
