Mail Call For 2.10.26
Way back when Marvel reacquired the license to Conan, I picked up the first volume of the Conan the King: The Original Marvel Years Omnibus, but before the second volume came out, the license had moved once again.
Last year, I read all of the volumes of the Conan the Barbarian omnibus, and also the omnibus of Dark Horse stories by Kurt Busiek that Marvel put out while they had the license, and was going to start on Conan the King, but opted not to, as I only had the one volume.
But Titan, the new license-holder, did continue with collecting the remaining stories, and I found the second volume at a decent price, so…

While flipping through it, I happened to stumble upon the story that includes a panel that was the focus of a Paneling post a while back.
The reprinted panel, however, does not include the little something extra that made the panel stand out in my memory for decades…

In any case, while the pace has slackened, there will be more things arriving at my door, so check back soon for another Mail Call.
