In addition to comics, I got a little token of affection – and an ad for a comic – from the shop in the form of a valentine.

In other, unfortunate news, the shop got broken into over the weekend. Fortunately, no one was hurt, and they were able to deal with the damage enough to get back up and running the same day.

Hopefully, those responsible will be found, but if you’re in the Northern VA/Metro DC area, maybe swing by Comic Logic and show them some love.

Born and raised in the sparsely populated Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Jon Maki developed an enduring love for comics at an early age.
