Mail Call For 2.19.26
A post on Bluesky reminded me of a digest I had when I was a kid.
Of course, figuring out which digest it was took some digging, as I’d gotten it coverless in a mystery pack.
Still, I was able to find it fairly quickly, and as it’s something I’ve thought about often over the years, I decided to buy a copy of it.

I think I looked it up once before years ago, but I didn’t buy it at the time.
One of the things I remember about it from the copy I had was being surprised that it was from Harvey, which I only associated with Richie Rich, Casper, and the like. I had no idea they’d ever published these sorts of stories.
I also recall being surprised how good – or at least modern – the art was compared to what I expected older comic art to look like.
You could say I was shocked. You shouldn’t, but you could.
Anyway, now that I have it, I’m not sure what to do with it, as I don’t really have a good way to store digests, which is one of the reasons that I’ve held off on reacquiring some of the many, many digests I had as a kid.
Also, my aged eyes probably aren’t up to the task of reading that tiny print.
In any case, I ordered something else the same time I ordered this, but it was from a different seller, so despite my hope that it would arrive with this, it didn’t.
Which means that you should check back soon for another Mail Call post.
