Mail Call For 3.14.26
What is it they say about never judging a book by its cover?
A while back, as I was picking up my weekly comics, I saw a book with this cover in my stack:

“Ugh,” I thought. “A K.O. one-shot. Pass.” And when I got up to the counter I set it aside and said I didn’t want it.
But the thing is, if you’re going to ignore the adage and judge a book by its cover anyway, you should at least look closely enough at the cover to see what book it is you’re judging.
Sometime later, as I was organizing comics, I noticed that I was missing an issue of Superman. I couldn’t see how, but it was nowhere to be found. I checked CLZ and confirmed that, in fact, I did not have it. Then I saw the cover for it and realized why.
While I’ve made it clear that I have no interest in the K.O. event, I do have an interest in maintaining a gap-free run of Superman.
Thus, Mail Call.

Still, while it may not make it a better book, I did at least get a better cover.
Mistakes like this one will continue to happen, which means that Mail Call posts will, too, so check back soon for the next one.
