I like the facsimile editions<\/a> that DC and Marvel put out and tend to pick them up when I see them, but I don’t always<\/em> see them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other day while looking at my collection I realized that while I had a bit of a run of facsimiles of classic X-Men<\/em> comics I was missing one, so, after checking to see if there were any copies at the comic shop (nope), I went online to fill that gap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, while I was there, I couldn’t just stop at buying a single comic, though I also didn’t want to spend a whole lot more money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve got a kind of lazy collection goal of assembling a complete run of Superman<\/em> volume 1 from the year I was born (1972) to the year it ended (1986), so I opted to fill a couple of gaps in that goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are still plenty of gaps to fill, particularly from 1972 to 1978, but, as I said, it’s a laz<\/em>y collecting goal and I’ll get to filling the rest of those gaps when I get to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when I do, the odds are they’ll end up here in a Mail Call post, but before that happens there are bound to be other things that arrive on my doorstep, so check back soon to see what they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
