Back when I first started writing Spotlight Sunday<\/strong> posts, they were preceded by something I called Weigh-In Wednesday<\/strong>, in which I would post a listing of all of the comics I picked up on New Comic Book Day and give readers the opportunity to vote on which of the comics I should write about on the following Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It…wasn’t a popular feature, rarely receiving many votes, and often ending in ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eventually, some changes in my life meant that I couldn’t make it to the comic shop on Wednesday, so I dispensed with the voting, but I continued listing my purchases in a post I called Showcase Saturday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eventually, I dispensed with that<\/em>, too, and I made some changes to how Spotlight Sunday<\/strong> worked, no longer limiting myself to writing about a comic from that week’s purchases, allowing myself to start writing about other comics in my collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, I have to believe that someone <\/em>is interested in seeing what comics I buy in a given week, and I feel like it would be nice to have something that appears on a regular basis between Unbaggings, so I’m adding this new featured called The Pull List<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be on the lookout for Mail Call<\/strong> posts, too, in which I’ll share some of the comics I’ve bought online. That won’t happen as often as the weekly trips to the comic shop, but it is a regular occurrence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
