Sometimes, as with the last Mail Call, I forget about things that are going to show up in the mail because so much time passes without any sort of updates.

And sometimes, as with this Mail Call, I forget about things that are going to show up because I’m forgetful.

I mean, I ordered this last week and totally forgot I had until I saw on Bluesky that someone who had also ordered it last week had gotten it today.

(My purchase was inspired by his purchase, as his purchase let me know that I could get it for just a bit over a third of the original cover price.)

Say what you will about Frank Miller and whether it’s positive or negative I’m not likely to argue with you.

Unless what you say is, “He was never that good anyway,” because I will argue with you about that, and now I have this to bust out as evidence to prove you wrong.

Let’s take a look inside.

And the classic, character-defining Wolverine mini-series.

And that’s just a small sample of the wonders inside that demonstrate why I will hear no ill about the early work of Frank Miller.

In any case, there are bound to be more things that, thanks to my forgetfulness, will surprise me when they arrive for the next Mail Call.
