Several months ago on Bluesky, I had shared an image of my refrigerator, covered as it is with Bettie Page comics.

In reply, @mstrauss.bsky.social shared an image of his own Bettie Page refrigerator magnet.

I, quite obviously, immediately inquired if it was still possible to acquire that magnet. (Or “magnent” as my typo would have it.)

I was pointed to a link to the original Dark Horse Comics product page, which showed that it had been released more than 20 years ago. I did a brief search to see if it was available anywhere now, but to, well, no avail.

The other day, I was reminded of that post and decided to do another search, for it, and, well…

If I still smoked, I would for sure want those lighters. All of them.

If I still drank, I might want the shot glasses.

I have that Bettie Page Queen of Hearts book, but not the posters.

Here are some action shots:

Anyway, even though I adore the Queen of Pin-Ups, I’d say I’m content with this magnet set and won’t be trying to track down any fo those other items.

Probably.

Still, it is nice to have this to accompany the many other Bettie products that can be found throughout my home, such as this similar item.

Regardless of whether I track down any of those other items, somewhere along the line Bettie is bound – no pun intended – to make another appearance in a future Mail Call, so check back often to see when that happens and to check out some of the non-Bettie items that find their way to my doorstep.
