Mail Call For 7.28.26

When I saw this announced months ago, I immediately went to Amazon and preordered it.

Nearly a month ago, I was kind of annoyed when I walked into the comic shop and saw it available for sale there. The owner was surprised that I wasn’t walking out the door with it, and I had to explain that it’s hit or miss whether or not they’ll get one of these Artist’s Editions and that in my excitement when I see things like this announced, it never occurs to me that I can order it through them.

Ultimately, I wished I had, as when I checked my order status I saw that it wasn’t coming until now, and if I’d bought it from them, I could have had it then.

Still, I do have it now, and, well, let’s just take a look inside.

I must admit that there is one particular page I was hoping would be included in here, but alas, it is not.

Still, I can’t really complain given what is included.

There’s so much more and it’s all glorious, and it’s cool, as always, to see the production artifacts, the underlying pencils, and the margin notes that make these Artist’s Editions so special.

And it’s especially special when it’s an edition dedicated to this artist.
