Mail Call For 12.9.23
When I started reading Steelworks #6, I soon realized that I’d failed to pick up #5. There were no copies of it at the comic shop, so I went online to order a copy.
While I was there, I decided to do some searching on an incomplete collecting project, one that I’ve set aside because of the difficulty of finding the right price/condition balance for the missing issues, as the issues I need are early in the run and more difficult to find.
Still, I did manage to find one issue that had the right price/condition balance – though now that I have it, I find the condition isn’t quite where I’d like it to be – so I ordered it. However, even though this issue brings me that much closer to having a complete run, the struggle of finding it drives home just how difficult – and unlikely – it will be for me to actually successfully complete the run.
Anyway, even though I won’t be able to afford them anytime soon, just five more to go…
For the rest of the Mail Call, we’ve got variants.
That wraps up this Mail Call, but the song remains the same – there will be more comics arriving at my doorstep all the time, and new Mail Call posts to tell you about them.
