Mistakes caused by inattentiveness seem to be at the core of the latest Mail Call.

Starting with this:

Somna
#1C – Joëlle Jones Incentive Variant

A few weeks back, after having heard good things about this book, I picked up the first issue. Except it wasn’t the first, it was the second. So, the next week I resolved to pick up the first issue, but they didn’t have any in stock at the shop. Thus, my mistake led to this portion of the Mail Call.

(It’s a beautiful book, by the way. Consider the previous sentence a Short Box.)

Next, after seeing them on Comicsky (Comics Bluesky), I decided that I wanted these variants featuring Gracie the Cosplay Lass.

Heat Seeker: A Gun Honey Series
#1 – Pack Exclusive Cover
#3 – Pack Virgin Cover

Then, though I already had the trade dress version of the cosplay cover – I bought it at the shop because it was there; I’d planned to tradewait on the rest of it – I decided to get the other virgin cosplay cover for #1:

Heat Seeker: A Gun Honey Series
#1 – Pack Virgin Cover

However, I wasn’t paying attention to what I was buying and while I thought I was just ordering the one comic I ended up getting all four virgin covers – including two copies of #2 for some reason – so now I have duplicates of the Pack Exclusive Covers for #1 and #3.

Heat Seeker: A Gun Honey Series
#1 – Pack Exclusive Cover
#2 – Pack Exclusive Cover
#3 – Pack Virgin Cover
#4 – Pack Virgin Cover

I really hadn’t been as keen on the covers for #2 and #4 as I was for the two covers for #1 and the cover for #3, so I hadn’t planned on picking them up, but I guess I can’t really complain, as it means I paid a lot less than I thought I did for the virgin cover of #1, it saves me from having to buy the trade like I was planning to, and who can be mad about having more Gracie?

Anyway, it seems like more stuff is always on the way, so come back soon for the next Mail Call.
