It’s Free Comic Book Day!

I got free stuff before I even entered the store, as I won a raffle while waiting in line:

I also paid for something, opting to add to my poster book collection:

Actor Brendan Wayne – grandson of John – who portrays the on-set Mandalorian on the Disney+ series was at the comic shop as a special guest, as Free Comic Book Day coincided with Star Wars Day.

It’s rainy and miserable today, and the line to the tent where he was signing autographs and posing for pictures provided no cover, so I opted to leave after grabbing my stuff and doing my bit to support the shop.

I took a few pictures, but most of them turned out blurry, so I’ll close out with the one that turned out clear, a shot of the shop’s owner – with some Mandalorians in the background – walking over to shake my hand while I was standing in line.
